The plays explore the histories and potential futures of LGBT people in the UK. Stephen Hornby, Artistic Director of VADA, believes its essential for the LGBTQ community to look back and celebrate our history: “LGBT History Month is a fantastic opportunity to discover things about ourselves that we never knew, to unearth forgotten stories and celebrate heroes no one else will cheer. This year’s showcase also looks forward with science in mind, to possible futures we must embrace or guard against. It’s an intriguing, bewitching and sometimes very funny show. ” |
